First Came the Marriage and Now The Baby Carriage!

Wow, it seems just like yesterday when I met Eric and Camille to talk about their wedding photography. After that discussion, I have photographed their wedding and members of their family in the studio. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of photographing them during a maternity session. I am looking forward to meeting the Lil Ms. Stewart. I are hoping she will hold out so she can be a capricorn. Take a look at the session!

Stairway to Heaven

While in the Bahamas recently, I was completely captivated by this particular piece of architecture. I am not sure if it qualifies as Fine Art, but I really enjoyed photographing this structure.

Back from Vegas

Well, I am back from my second trip to Vegas, and I saw more this time than I did the first time. The last time in Vegas I spent most of my time going from Planet Hollywood to the left toward Mandalay Bay, but this year I was at Ballys and made my way to the right toward The Venetian and other locations. I didn't realize there were so many malls in all of the hotels and casinos. A shoppers paradise. I am ready for a shopping spree.

I did receive some inspiration by going into one of Peter Lik's stores. He sells prints for $3,000.00 to $10,000.00. I would love to be at that level.

I also had the opportunity to run the Canon 1D Mark IV through its paces, and it would be an understatement to say that I fell in love with that camera. Got to find the $5,000 for it. Clients come on in and see me.

More on Vegas later with some photos.

More to come!

Did I mention that while I was down at the River another family wanted my services? Well, they did, so stay tuned for some photos from part of the Lambeth family.

I am still here

Well, I have to do better about updating you on my activities. I have been blessed to do some interesting work lately. One exciting photo shoot was down at the River in the Eastern part of North Carolina not too far from Belhaven. I was asked to photograph the Anderson family by my long time friend Amy. Amy and I go way back to running track in high school. The weather was great and the family was lots of fun. Check out some of the images.

This year J. Harris Photography and Design is break into the high school market full steam ahead with the 2011 Senior Model Program. It is going to be fun for the seniors and fun for me to work with students who love to be photographed and want to be photographed in unique and special ways instead of being forced into a cookie cutter photography mode. We are offering photography that is in Touch and not out of Touch with the creative energy and minds of today's senior. Tisha enjoyed her experience from last year so much that she came back again for more.
